How to read a shop’s pickup page

The shop’s public pickup or delivery page is the working document for a store run. It names the handoff (counter, curbside, Drive Up, pharmacy delivery, merchant ticket). It does not need to be paraphrased into a fee table. This lesson shows what to lift from four pages Orlando runs actually use, then where to stop.

A grocery aisle with stocked shelves.

Publix Shop Online

publix.com/shop-online currently names three methods: Delivery, In-Store Pickup, and Curbside Pickup. Delivery and curbside are marked as powered by Instacart. In-Store Pickup has its own in-store pickup page. Lift: which of the three you are using, then the store in Publix’s locator. Leave: membership prices and any window the page may show that day.

Target Pickup & Delivery

Target’s Pickup & Delivery page names Order Pickup and Drive Up. Lift: which lot behavior you are using (walk in vs. Stay in the car) and the store in Target’s locator. Drive Up needs a vehicle description and an in-app check-in; those instructions live on Target’s page.

CVS Pharmacy Delivery

cvs.com/content/delivery is the pharmacy-delivery explainer. Lift: whether the prescription is eligible for delivery vs. Counter pickup, then that store’s own hold notice. Add Florida § 465.0155 for photo ID on controlled substances when the pharmacist does not know the person collecting.

Merchant pickup

Hinckley’s Fancy Meats is the local example: sandwiches, salads, and drinks available for pickup; the specialty case is in-shop only. Lift: which half of the shop you are using. East End Market’s merchant roster is the index, not a single cart.

Questions

Why skip fees?
They move with memberships, baskets, and distance. The shop’s page is the live source.
What if the page lists several methods?
Pick one per run. Mixing in-store pickup with delivery on the same perishable list splits the USDA clock.
