Compare handoffs

A handoff is how the shop releases the order. Publix Shop Online names delivery, in-store pickup, and curbside pickup. Target names Order Pickup and Drive Up. East End Market merchants name stall pickup. The table below compares those methods as the shops describe them. It omits prices and clocks on purpose.

How to choose

  1. Access If a gate will not let a courier through, pickup or curbside beats a stoop bag.
  2. ID Pharmacy controlled substances need the person Florida statute describes. Delivery to a neighbor may fail that test.
  3. Temperature Several perishable stops argue for one curbside grocer run, then a separate hall walk.
  4. Substitutions Counter and curbside make it easy to refuse a swap at handoff. Delivery often needs the shop’s return path.
Choose the handoff that matches the building and the clock, then read that shop’s page for the stall number. Not the other way around.

Questions

Which method is fastest?
Windows live on the shop’s page and change. This table compares standing place and cold-chain duty, not minutes.
Can two methods share one list?
They can share a request. Give each perishable bag its own USDA clock.
